Grilled Chicken with Alabama White Sauce

This sauce is a wonderful alternative to the traditional tomato based sticky barbeque sauce.

Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

For the White Sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp horseradish
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • For the white sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  • Pre-heat grill to 400° or heat a grill pan over medium high heat.
  • Cook chicken 3-4 minutes.
  • Turn and brush with sauce and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve with Alabama White Sauce on the side.
