1pound Italian SausageI like to use mild
2bell pepperssliced
1red onionsliced
2clovesgarlicmined
1/2teaspoonred pepper flakesoption
1/4cupwhite wine
1/2cupchicken stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh torn basil leaves

Instructions
Slice your onion and bell peppers and mince garlic.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Italian sausages and cook until browned on all sides.
Once the sausages are nicely seared, transfer them to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the olive oil and heat it over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers, onions, and minced garlic. Sauté them until they become tender and lightly caramelized.
Once the peppers and onions are nice and soft, deglaze the pan with the white wine.
Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Add the Italian sausage back to the pan, cover and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and almost fully cooked out. About 5 minutes.
Garnish with hand torn basil.
